About CVNepal
A free CV builder for Nepalese job seekers — whether you're applying in Kathmandu, going abroad for work, or chasing a remote job with a foreign employer.
Why it exists
Most CV tools are built for a Western job market and priced for a Western salary. A jobseeker in Nepal hits the same three walls: the templates assume a career that doesn't match theirs, the good features are behind a card payment they may not have, and nothing accounts for the fields a foreign-employment CV actually needs.
CVNepal is the tool I wanted to exist for that person. You can build a complete, ATS-ready CV, preview it as you type, and download it as PDF or Word — without paying, and without an account.
What you get
- Templates that pass the robots. Applications are usually filtered by software before a person reads them. The templates are laid out so that software can actually parse your CV.
- Three goals, one CV. Local, foreign employment, and remote work ask for different things. Pick your goal and the example bullet points — and the AI suggestions, if you use them — change to match it.
- Honest feedback on your CV. A strength score that rates what you actually wrote, not just whether you filled the boxes in, and tells you the next thing to improve.
- Nothing is sent to an AI unless you ask. Your CV lives in your browser as you type, with a copy saved to our server so closing the tab doesn't lose your work. The AI writing tools are optional, and your text only leaves our systems if you sign in and agree to it first — see the Privacy Policy.
Who builds it
CVNepal is an independent project, founded and built by Navaraj Thapa. It isn't a company with a support department — it's one developer, which means when you report a bug it reaches the person who can fix it, and when you ask for a feature there's nobody in between.
That's also the honest limit of it: fixes happen as fast as one person can ship them. If you find something broken, telling me is genuinely the most useful thing you can do.
Is it really free?
Yes — building, previewing and downloading your CV are free today, with no watermark and no card required. If paid features are ever introduced, it will be for things beyond the core CV, and this page will say so plainly rather than quietly changing under you.
Something missing, or something broken?
Tell me what to fix or build next — I read every message.
